Safetygoat and the web

I make websites that are usable, standard's compliant, unique and delightful.

Hi. My name is Kat Neville. My real passion is organizing content, dealing with user flow and forming them into a beautiful, standard's compliant websites. I have been working full-time as a web designer for the past years, and in that time have worked full time, freelanced, and co-built my own applications (including watchy, graffed and thepickuptruck). I am also an occasional writer for Smashing Magazine.

I run a small web agency with a few other talented people. If you're looking to work with me, please visit Capra. There you can read more about my work philosophies, latest projects and more.

About the safetygoat website

Safetygoat was born in 2007 as a home for Kat Neville's musings, work and more. While goats aren't known for their swimming or boating skills (but they can definitely swim!), safetygoat doesn't believe that he's constrained by the 'usual' goat activities.

While naughty safetygoat loves adventure, he's not reckless: you won't see him without his lifejacket. He is a safety hero, and he wants you to stay safe and have fun.

Here are the goat's top water tips

  • Always swim with a buddy
  • Don't go boating in thunderstorms
  • Don't run on the boat deck
  • Always wear your life jacket

Safetygoat is not just interested in boating and swimming.

Safetygoat also loves arts and crafts (including making tiny safetygoats!), socializing with friends, hanging out at the cottage, and vegetable gardening.
