Flip reverse game play

Braineos is a wrecking ball to the pain and boredom of revision. This application gets you learning the fundamentals of your subject quickly and effectively.

Meg Smitley and Luc Russell of HoveringHorse are the creators of this fun application.

I was in charge of branding, interface design and usability, and collaborated on some feature designs as they fit into the application. After some initial consultation on style, we settled on a simple, clean layout and font.  The braineos logo too needed to be clean, but obviously brainey.  Our colour palate was fresh and bright, and button styles are simple.  On the homepage and in the footer, I created illustrations that emphasized their strapline, “feed your brain”.

There are so many potential features you could put in a learning website, but we strove for ease of first time use, sharing and positive reinforcement.  It is currently in its Alpha release.
